Be Different


Look out through the
Window of your mind
At the souls that claim
To be perfect, normal and classy
Not like you,the weirder kind
Look at them again and again
Find where their perfection is
Where their normalcy lies
Is it in their ears?
That turn deaf to cries?
Is it in their eyes?
That turn blind to grief?
Is it in their throat?
That doesn't have a voice?
They teach you that's how
People are
And that's how you should be
If you open your eyes to see
If you listen with your ears
If you raise your voice
They'll tell you you're weird
A crazy one, A lunatic
A rebel,A disgrace
They'll say it all
And tell you to run away and hide
To fear and never to dare
To live in caves of night....
But choose to stay in the light
With what you believe
And with your life
And look right into the eyes
Of whatever that may come your way
Because when others run for cover
The eagle soars above the rainclouds.

I personally like this one,it earned some appreciation too,but that's not why I like it,this had everything I wanted to express for so long.

Venting

"She died and I survived,and because I survived, I died everyday." This line stuck to me the day I read the book "I too had a love story." I read it when I was 14.It felt strange to me and I prayed it would never happen to me, and now, 3 years later I had to go through the same. It's easy for people who die. They just die and it's over  for them. It's people who love them that suffer the most when they're gone. As usual, everybody won, and I lost.
